“We recently held our son's first birthday party here at Vindu Banquet hall, and it was an absolute dream! From the initial booking to the final cleanup, the entire experience was seamless. “I don’t write a lot of reviews so you know when I do the restaurant is either really good or really bad. in this case the restaurant was by far one of my favorite Indian restaurants in the Novi/Farmington area. I moved out of Detroit a couple years ago and since then every time I’m back in town visiting my parents, I always like to visit the local Indian restaurants. After trying Rao Gari I have now found my favorite one in the area. The portion sizes were generous, and the prices were solid especially when everyone else in town is raising their prices by so much. I’ll start with the biryani. I took this one to go. This was by far my favorite biryani I’ve ever had. It was extremely soft and tasty not too oily, and the biryani was spiced perfectly. I had the Rao special biryani. 10/10 After that, I tried the butter chicken. It’s a pretty basic Indian dish I know, but these guys honestly did a great job. The thing I appreciated the most about this was you could get it less oily which a lot of places for some reason add a ton of oil to their curries, I’m not sure why, but I appreciated them making it less oily. It was very creamy and very delicious. 10/10 They had a special called dynamic Gobi. This was something like a cauliflower with some crazy flavors. I can’t describe, but it was fantastic not necessarily my favorite, but it was super flavorful and very delicious. 8/10 Lastly, I had the karapodi chicken (I prob spelled that wrong). This was super good and highly recommended. I ordered the extra spicy and they definitely accommodated as it was very. It was spiced well and tasted amazing. 9/10 Beyond that I have to say the service at this restaurant was top-notch. Me not being Indian sometimes makes it difficult to understand what some of these menu items are and some of Indian restaurants I go to in the area just kinda give me the most basic description that I could read online. Here the waitress, and some of the staff really helped me Through the menu. Understand a lot of the different items, and talked to me about the different flavors and their different takes on it. I really appreciated that along with the owner and some of the other employees as they constantly checked up on me to make sure everything was good. They brought me fresh bread and I just can’t say enough about how they treated me the whole time. If I had to say the biryani was by far my favorite and that’s probably what I’ll be getting every single time beyond that I plan on trying more things so I’m excited to go back.”

“Food was good. Everything was executed on time as planned . Requested help was provided on time. Everybody was humble. I would definitely recommend this restaurant for parties. In terms of cleaning, everything was cleaned by the staff after our party. Ample time was provided for decoration before the party.”
